I usually hear that science is challenging, specially from my own students,. When questioned about what it is that makes science difficult, I generally get answers that relate to having to remember a entire bunch of facts. You know, all that "stuff" and all those "things" with the funny sounding names.I employed to think it was the kids. They created it tough simply because they didn't care sufficient to comprehend. And whilst that might be true to a degree, I think what makes science "hard" in today's science classroom, isn't so a lot the kids, but the way the content is presented. We frequently present scientific discoveries, principles, and ideas with out considering the historical context that these discoveries were made.
