We discovered 20 instances with acute aortic dissection aneurysms (,78%). The most often location of death is property(45%) and function(20%). The men were much more than twice (70% men and 30% women). The average age of the men (55,71) was considerably lower than women’s (68,67). The most affected age group (50-79) occupied 75% from all cases. The principal etiologic factor was hypertonia and atherosclerosis (70%), in 20% -only hypertonia. We observed intimal lesions 1 sm and 2 sm above aortic valve. The wall of the left ventricle with hypertonia and atherosclerosis showed 21,86 mm. In 85% of the instances we found cardiac tamponada.
Objective:We investigated some forensic-medical aspects and medico-biological aspects of aortic aneurisms
Material and approaches: We examined 2574 forensic autopsies from 1998 to 2004 years. There had been studied the following data –sex, age, factors for the development of aneurysms, the localization of intimal lesions, complications and chronobiological pecularities. The level of alcohol had been established by Widmark method.
Results: We discovered 20 cases with acute aortic dissection aneurysms (,78%). The most typically location of death is house(45%) and work(20%). The men were far more than twice (70% men and 30% ladies). The average age of the men (55,71) was considerably lower than women’s (68,67). The most affected age group (50-79) occupied 75% from all circumstances. The primary etiologic factor was hypertonia and atherosclerosis (70%), in 20% -only hypertonia. We observed intimal lesions 1 sm and 2 sm above aortic valve. The wall of the left ventricle with hypertonia and atherosclerosis showed 21,86 mm. In 85% of the instances we discovered cardiac tamponada.
Conclusions:
1.We revealed aortic dissection aneurysms in ,78%
2.The death frequently occurred at property and at function
3.We established affected age group between 50-79 years (various from deceased in hospital)
4.The most affected place is a transverse laceration of the intimae above aortic valve
5.The most often registered complication is tamponada cordis
6.There were chronobiological peculiarities in sudden death from aortic aneurysms.
Key words:
Aortic dissection – frequency – etiology – age – complications
